Rumer Willis is making it in Hollywood on her own.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Rumer Willis says that she refused to take any favors from her famous parents.  She wanted to ‘make it’ as an actress on her own and in her own right.
It was very important for Rumer to carve out her own career, without being accused of benefiting from her parents’ connections.

Bruce says, “She sat us down and said, ‘I know you two think you’re big shots, but I don’t want any help’. And she went off and got work on her own.”

Although she has now refused help from her famous parents, Willis’ Hollywood career was kickstarted by appearances in their films. She starred alongside Moore in 1996 movie Striptease, and twice with father Bruce in 2000’s The Whole Nine Yards and Hostage in 2005.
