Country trio Rascal Flatts will be helping volunteers build a playground in Alabama. This comes after the group won a humanitarian award.
The band received the Academy of Country Music’s Home Depot Humanitarian Award in May, and as a result, won the opportunity to provide a new playground to the city of its choice.
The trio - Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney - will visit Birmingham on Wednesday, to build their playground at the Princeton Alternative Elementary School.
