Bob Geldof’s daughter Peaches has denied she is set to divorce her husband of less than 4 months.
Reports in a British tabloid over the weekend said that the teenage socialite had told pals was planning to split from New York musician Max Drummey, who she wed in Las Vegas in August.
The 19 year old has denied she is divorcing the musician, but does admit the couple often says things “in the heat of the moment” which may have been to blame for the rumors.
A spokesperson for Peaches says, “Like all couples, Max Drummey and Peaches Geldof have their ups and downs, and things might be said in the heat of the moment. They are still together and they are not divorcing.”
A “pal” of Peaches has revealed that the romance may still have problems, telling Britain’s The Sun, “It is true they have had some serious rows and things have got pretty bad. Peaches undermined the relationship when she said she didn’t marry expecting it to last but Max is deeply in love and he will fight to save the relationship.”
