“Everybody Loves Raymond” star Patricia Heaton has signed on for ABC’s “The Middle.”
After closing the deal with Patricia Heaton for the lead, ABC has given the go ahead for the comedy pilot.
The show tells the story of a middle-class Midwestern family through the eyes of the mother (Patricia Heaton).
It was originally developed during the 2006-07 development cycle and starred Ricki Lake.
