Director Oliver Stone wants everyone to know that his new movie “W” is an attempt to undermine George Bush’s administration.
The movie which stars Josh Brolin as George W. is due to be released just a few weeks before the November presidential elections.
Oliver Stone deems his film is a service to voters, rather than a disservice to the Bush administration.
He says,“It was not our intention to bring malice or judgment on George W. Bush and his administration. He and his administration clearly speak for themselves. This man has left us with three wars - in Iraq, Afghanistan and the war on terror - and the legacy of the pre-emptive strike.” He adds, “These are legacies that will haunt his successor for years. It’s good for people, before the election, to think about who they elected eight years ago and about where we are as a country right now.” Dana Perino, a Bush spokesperson, has refused to acknowledge the film, insisting the office has “much more important things to do than comment on this ridiculous movie”. Here is the preview we showed you.

I think Oliver Stone was right on with what he said. He deserves to see on film what he did himself to this country.
Well, “W” how do you feel about your run now? Proud?
I cannot wait to see this movie. It’s like Michael Moore’s work. With a much larger budget. ![]()
Haha. You are so right!
I saw a screening of this. It definitely hits the issues. HARD. However, many people may take it as a ploy to make republicans look bad.
How exactly could republican’s look any worse, or criminal than they do now? W just gave a speech at a fund raiser for the RNC, and told the group he was happy and relaxed and looked forward to leaving office! He’s destroyed this country, parts of the world, and he’s happy and relaxed. This man is insane. I believe anyone who voted for him needs to have some quiet time to contemplate where they went wrong in their thought processes.
Good for Oliver, I’ve heard nothing but really good reports about the movie, it’s supposed to be very entertaining and sadly illuminating.
Which reminds me is that fat fuck PH dead yet? Since his tacky rental was on TV I figured he was snipped by some of the people he’s ripped off.
W will never see the truth.

Thank you Oliver for this film. Now if you could get the Republican’s to see it, and understand.
