For most people this would never be an issue. For Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi, they had the choice and they turned it down. Just what am I talking about? The newlyweds turned down offers from George Michael and Justin Timberlake to sing at their summer wedding in favor of a little known singer.
The pop superstars both offered to perform, with Justin going so far as planning to pen a new song especially for the two brides.
But, when the couple chose to scale their wedding plans back to a more intimate family affair, the idea of inviting big name stars to perform in their garden seemed a little odd.
Instead, she asked Joshua Radin to sing at the wedding: “He was fantastic and was so thrilled and honored.”
