What Comes Around Goes Around - N Y Fashion Week
As promised, I wanted to tell you about the wonderful gathering at The Hudson Terrace in New York last night, September 5th. Co-owners Seth Weisser and Gerard Maione, introduced their What Comes Around Goes Around Spring/Summer 2009 line.
The Hudson Terrace is a wonderful venue, with rooms surrounded by outdoor terraces as well as a magnificent large rooftop terrace that easily accommodates another 350 people comfortably, with terrific acoustics.
We made our way up to rooftop and gathered around the outside of red velvet ropes, set up as a runway in front of rock pianist Eric Lewis and his band.

As we stood under the stars in perfect weather, Seth and Gerard both spoke.
Seth first thanked the crowd of friends, family, buyers, media, loyal fans for their support over the last 15 years and talked of the natural progression of their vintage business to grow into its current place in the contemporary market. Gerard, who is also their Creative Director spoke more about the collection and his creative vision.
All of the clothing worn and on display was part of the Sping/Summer 2009 line, it wasn’t vintage, but the accessories were. We saw combat boots, bowler hats and fantastic vintage jewelry.
The ambiance was perfect, the models appeared within a party scene setting filled with vintage club chairs, chaise lounge and 1920’s coffee tables.
