Matt Stone and Trey Parker still know how to shake things up.
Wednesday night’s South Park pushed the envelope, perhaps a bit too much. In the episode, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg repeatedly sexually assaulted an unwitting Indiana Jones.
The scenes were presented as the opinion and commentary on the Indiana Jones producers’ attempt to capitalize and profit on a franchise with little regard for quality.
Here’s the problem for the creators. The Indy franchise is produced by Paramount, which like Comedy Central is owned by Viacom. That same situation arose when South Park locked Paramount poster boy Tom Cruise in a closet. To view the controversial clips……















I love South Park! Good for them for going beyond the expected and acceptable.
