Mindy McCready has issued a public apology for her affair with baseball player Roger Clemens to his wife.
In an interview with the New York Daily News last year, Mindy McCready confirmed the two began a 10 year affair when he was 28 and married with two children, and she was underage a claim 46 year old Rogers Clemens continues to deny.
On Monday, the singer, now 32, denied claims she ended their relationship because Roger Clemens wouldn’t marry her, and she’s asking for forgiveness from his wife, Debbie.
Mindy McCready told Inside Edition, “I have nothing but remorse and… sympathy for what she’s had to go through with this situation, and she has my utmost apology.”
In an interview with the New York Daily News, “I would apologize to her and say I was young. I now know better. I didn’t want to get married to (Clemens) and I don’t want to get married now. He should have done right by his family. If a person is unhappy in their marriage and spending all their personal time with someone else, you need to do right by your marriage. He should have just told Debbie. And been honest with her. If he didn’t want to be with her and wanted to be with me, he should have told her.”

I don’t get why people look up to pro ball players. They’re usually cads like Kobe and Clemens.
