Is there a ‘Dancing with the Stars’ curse?

So far this season, Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer have been getting solid scores and kudos from the judges. But Season 7 has been plagued by a string of injuries. From Jeff Ross’ cornea scratch to Misty-May Treanor’s tendon.

“The stage is cursed, we all believe it now,” Lacey Schwimmer stated at the Respect Awards. “So we stay away from that little area by the judges,” she said, referring to the spot where several of the show’s injuries have occurred. “Lance and I will walk around it all funny, so it’s kind of scary, but we’re taking extra precautions.”
