A message from Ellen: As most of you know, I am now a married woman! On Tuesday, I will give you the scoop and share some intimate moments from my summer wedding to Portia, that you can only see right here! (Make sure you have plenty of tissues handy!) I’ll even introduce you to my wedding planner, MINDY WEISS, who is here to give you some pointers and basic rules to ensure that you too can have the ceremony of your dreams! (Rule #1: Don’t forget to tip your planner.) Plus, the Beijing Olympics may be over, but the Ellen Olympics have just begun! And I’ve got gold medal-winning gymnast SHAWN JOHNSON here to help kick things off. Shawn won four medals in Beijing and she’s only 16! (But that’s like 84 in “gymnast years.”) I honestly don’t know what her secret is. I’ve been watching the Olympics for over 40 years and I still can’t always land my quadruple salto. Shawn will give me a flawless demonstration of her gymnastic skills and she may even convince me to join her on the balance beam!
